Verbos Modales en Ingles

Los verbos modales ingleses, modal verbs, se llaman tambien modal auxiliary verbs, modal auxiliaries o simplamente modals. Estos verbos son un categoría de verbos auxiliares, es decir que no se puede usarlos sin verbo principal.
Los verbos modales en inglés (modal verbs o simplemente modals) son un tipo de verbos auxiliares que sirven para expresar la probabilidad, posibilidad, capacidad o necesidad de que algo ocurra o se haga. En cuanto a estas funciones, podemos dividir los verbos modales en verbos que expresan capacidad, permiso, probabilidad y certeza, y obligación.

Aunque la significación y el uso de los verbos modales sean complicados, su gramática es simple. Los verbos modales no se conjugan: no llevan tiempo ni persona, y nunca cambian.
